Every Assessment Includes:
Multiple test pits excavated to determine soil profile and depth to restrictive or limiting layers
Soil texture, structure, and drainage classification
Permeability testing (Kfs) using constant head or percolation methods
Measurements for vertical separation (VS) and horizontal separation (HS)
Identification of site constraints: slope, access, setbacks, vegetation
Field documentation, soil logs, and site sketches for filing
System sizing and dispersal method recommendations (Type 1 or Type 2)
Filing-ready report for submission to the local Health Authority
